Following each phase — written exam, screening and interview stage — AJKPSC publishes a merit list on its official website www. ajkpsc. at gov.pk, and a merit list is prepared after the interview/viva voce phase has been concluded for a post.

What Is the AJKPSC Final Merit List?
Final merit list, this is the last and official ranking of candidates on a given advertised post after completion of all stages of selection — normally written test,scrutiny test(if applicable) and interview. It typically includes:

- Marks obtained in each stage
- Final position/merit number

- Step 3: Click the Results tabFind a link for Test Results or Merit List, which is likely located in the main navigation or under the Results/Downloads tab.

How AJKPSC Merit Is Calculated
AJKPSC follows a general pattern for weighting (however the actual weightage is subject to change per post and advertisement):
- You need to pass the written test with a minimum qualifying percentage (usually between 40 percent per paper and 50 percent overall, but this may vary according to the post – always refer to your respective advertisement).
- Those candidates who qualify the written test are called for interview/viva voce.
- The written test marks are merged with the interview marks in the ratio definedas per advertisement for that specific post on final merit list.
- Candidates are arranged in order of aggregate marks; the number of top candidates equal to the number of vacancies is recommended while those ranked lower are placed on a waiting list.

Common Reasons People Can’t Find Their Result
- Advertisement/Post wrongly chosen — the result per post is given separately, not in one overall list.
- CNIC with dashes in — most portals are numeric only and do not allow –
- Results Still not Announced — AJKPSC takes 2-3 weeks to a few months after the interview date to prepare the final result for publication.
- Now it is very common, when a list becomes live, for the official sites to become seriously bogged down.
- Using unofficial pages — other “results” sites are often out of date and/or wrong, always confirm with www. ajkpsc. gov.pk directly.
What Happens After the Final Merit List Is Announced?
- Offer/Appointment letters are amended based on the merit and document verification is done for all candidates who lie within the merit (equal to its number of vacancies).
- The waiting-list candidates, if any, may be modified later after verification of joining or disqualification.
- Generally speaking original CNIC, certificates of education, domicile and other credentials mentioned in the main advertisement are required for document verification.
