This training helps women understand:

  • How to handle digital wallet accounts attached with the SIMs

These wallets will facilitate upcoming BISP payment disbursements so that the beneficiaries can receive payments in a secure, timely and convenient way without having to visit physical payment camps.

Free SIM Cards and Zero Charges Policy

The director general highlighted that:

  • SIM:CARDs are free of charge
  •  No recipient shall pay any agent or person
  • A request for fees or commissions is contrary to the law.

Women were also requested that they should report any abuse at the nearest BISP Tehsil Office or the official helpline of BISP..

Safety Guidelines for Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries were instructed to:

  • Keep their SIM cards secure
  • Do not disclose the wallet and pin to anyone
  • Keep personal information private.

Authorities observed that social protection wallets make women strong, ensuring their financial independence and accountability.

Instructions to Field Staff

He stressed:

  • Proper crowd management
  • Following protocols to the letter
  • No end-user misconduct or negligence is tolerated

He also thanked the field teams and advised them to keep up their commitment and professionalism.
