Finally, the official admission schedule for undergraduate programs 2026 session of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore has been announced along with timetable of merit list 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. It added that students can still have a place if there are vacant seats in their program after classes commence as UVAS may issue additional merit lists beyond the tail of the 5th list — up to three weeks from September start.

How to Check and Download the UVAS Merit List 2026 PDF
- Go to official page of UVAS admissions: uvas. edu. pk
- Visit open menu of Admissions > Under Graduate
- As and when list is announced, you will find a link to the merit list on this admissions page (Check the Merit List section).
- Choose your campus (Lahore, Ravi, Jhang or Narowal) and choose Morning or Evening program/session as well because UVAS release separate PDF for each.
- Simply click the respective merit list link (1st, 2ndand 3rd) to open or download PDF.
- Instead of scrolling through the entire list, search for your application/form number in the PDF itself using Ctrl + F.
Since rising from 3 campuses and most programs being offered in morning and evening session, UVAS admissions had mistakenly opened PDF of wrong program/campus this is the most common amateur mistake applicants do.
What to Do If Your Name Appears on the Merit List
- Compare that with the cut-off written for your category (open merit, male/female and reserved seats wherever applicable).
- Pay your dues, before the deadline mentioned against that merit list. Usually, you miss your deadline it means you forfeiting your seat somewhere else and it goes to the next candidate in line.
- You get a fee challan which can be also paid through the online UG admission portal or online banking. At this step, always use your university own link provided on their official site rather than using third-party site.
- Have your original documents handy because usually at the time of final admission confirmation, verification is required.
What If Your Name Doesn’t Appear in the 1st List?
You can remove worries — UVAS puts multiple merit lists (5 and more in case of vacant seats). If you fail to get a spot on the 1st list:
- The second merit will be released on 26 August 2026 and the third on 31 August 2026.
- The seats of those who do not deposit their dues on time will carry over to the next list, so your total may still be in range.
- Look out for the application form UVAS has made available for candidates who think they were wrongly omitted from the master list called “Missing Opportunity”
How UVAS Calculates Merit
UVAS Merit for Undergraduates usually works on the Weighted Formula of your Matric/O-Level & F.Sc. Similar marks in A-Level (or equivalent) and if applicable, test score (such as the Hafiz-e-Quran bonus).
